Anabaa Blue gelding on target at Compiegne

PRIX du Jockey Club winner Anabaa Blue was represented by his first stakes scorer since November 2009 on Tuesday when six-year-old Zinabaa landed the Listed Grand Prix de Compiegne in France.

The gelding, who is from the second crop of Anabaa Blue, was bred by Mlle V. Dubois, J. Dubois and E. Dubois out of Zigrala, one of only two foals out of Listed scorer Zigreen. By Linamix, Zigrala is also the dam of minor winner Run On Ruby (by Muhtathir).

Further back it is the family of Hong Kong Gold Cup winner Precision.

Anabaa Blue is the sire of five stakes winners in total headed by Arlington Million hero Spirit One. The son of Anabaa, who hails from the same family as Galileo and Sea The Stars, stands at Haras d'Etreham for €3,000.
