Kheleyf fires in
another winner

THERE appears to be no stopping first crop sire Kheleyf, who sired his 25th individual winner of the British and Irishcampaign when Godolphin's Zelloof registered a smooth victory in the 7f maiden at Southwell today.

Zelloof is the seventh foal out of the Moyglare Stud Stakes heroine Belle Genius, who has yet to produce anything approaching her own ability. However, she has clicked well with the Green Desert line before, producing two winners by that stallion and one by Cape Cross.

Zelloof's yearling brother was purchased by Tom Dascombe through Kern/Lillingston for €14,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Sale.

At Fairyhouse, Danehill Dancer dominated the opening maiden as the sire of the first two home, Cnocan Gold and Four Star General. The pair pulled five lengths clear of the third.
