Zaha arrives at Coolagown Stud

COOLAGOWN Stud welcomed the arrival of  Zaha, the newest addition to its stallion roster, last Friday.

David Stack, manager of Coolagown Stud, said: "Zaha travelled well and has already settled in. He is a stunning looking animal."

Within minutes of arriving at the stud in Fermoy, County Cork, he was represented by his first winner as a Coolagown sire when his son Ain't Talkin won at Lingfield Park.

A son of Kingmambo, Zaha was a Group 1 winner in Canada at two and has previously stood at Collin Stud near Newmarket and at Clear Mountain Fairview Farm in Australia.

Winners he has sired on the Flat are headed by Italian Listed winner Solzah and four-time winners Rollin 'N Tumblin and Starcross Maid. His best jumps performers are the dual winners Zahra's Place and What A Buzz.

He will be available for viewing at the Tattersalls Ireland February NH sale next Tuesday.
