Half-sister to Finsceal Beo scores at Pontefract

PONTEFRACT played host to another potentially useful runner out of Musical Treat on Sunday in Zabeel Park, an easy winner of the 6f maiden.

The daughter of Medicean, a 500,000gns yearling purchase by John Ferguson, won by two lengths from the favourite Mama Lulu for Saeed bin Suroor.

She becomes the fourth winner out of Musical Treat following dual 1,000 Guineas heroine Finsceal Beo (by Mr Greeley), this season's Mehl Muhlens-Rennen winner Frozen Power (by Oasis Dream) and the Listed-placed Musical Bar (by Barathea).

Liam Cashman's Rathbarry Stud purchased Musical Treat, a Listed-placed daughter of Royal Academy, for $100,000 through the BBA Ireland at the 2003 Keeneland November Sale.

She has a yearling full-brother to Finsceal Beo.
