First mares confirmed in foal to Super Saver

FOUR mares have already been confirmed in foal to 2010 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver.

The first, stakes winner Lunargal, is a sister to Graded stakes winning juvenile Lunarpar. She is owned by WinStar Farm, which bred and campaigned Super Saver before retiring him to their Kentucky operation.

A five-length winner of the Grade 2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes at two, Super Saver defeated Ice Box and Lookin At Lucky to win the Kentucky Derby at three. The son of Maria's Mon hails from the immediate family of WinStar's promising young stallion Bluegrass Cat and is standing his first season for $20,000.
