Ready's Image to
shuttle to Australia

GRADE 2 winner Ready's Image will shuttle to the newly established Lincoln/Walmac Associated Farms at Scone, NewSouth Wales, Australia for the southern hemisphere season.

The four-year-old son of More Than Ready, who won the Sanford Stakes and Tremont Stakes as a two-year-old, is standing his first season at Walmac Farm in Kentucky for $12,500.

More Than Ready recently pulled off the notable feat of siring back-to-back Golden Slipper Stakes winners in Phelan Ready and Sebring. The son of Southern Halo has also been represented by Group 1 winners Benicio, Perfectly Ready and Carry On Cutie, and is consequently one of the most sought after sires in Australia at a fee of A$110,000.

Lincoln Farm is managed by Nick Posa, who was involved in the shuttling of former Walmac stallion Is It True during his tenure at Heytesbury Stud. He said: "I'm delighted to be standing Ready's Image as the first stallion for the Lincoln/Walmac Farm Association.

"The shuttle sires that have worked from America like More Than Ready and Dehere have been both fast and precocious over short trips and Ready's Image was exactly that winning the same race that these two proven sires did."

He added: "Ready's Image is a great-looking horse and he's free of the Danzig and Danehill strains that have done so well with More Than Ready."

Ready's Image is the best runner out of Clever Phrase, a winning daughter of Clever Trick from the family of Santa Anita Derby hero Came Home.

A decision as to whether he will be syndicated in Australia will be made at a later date.
