Ready's Image retired to Walmac Farm

READY'S IMAGE, a Grade 2-winning juvenile in the US in 2007, has been retired to Walmac Farm in Kentucky.

Trained by Todd Pletcher for James Scatuorchio and Walmac Farm, the son of More Than Ready won the Tremont Stakes by more than seven lengths.

On his next start he won the Sanford Stakes, beating subsequent Wood Memorial Stakes winner Tale Of Ekati by four lengths. He also finished second to Majestic Warrior in the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes.

Walmac managing director John T.L. Jones III said: "Ready's Image has that all-important brilliance at two, coupled with good size, being 16.2 hands, and is from an internationally fashionable sire line.

"He was the highest-priced yearling of his year by More Than Ready, and being out of a Clever Trick mare, is sure to put commercial conformation on his progeny."

Ready's Image will stand at $12,500 in his first year at stud.
