His victory means that David Wachman has trained the winners of three yearling bonus races; the Wachman stable struck in two Irish bonus races last year thanks to Captain Obvious and Rambling Rake.

Bred by Gigginstown House Stud, Amira's Prince was purchased by his owner for 150,000gns at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.

The 20th winner by his young sire Teofilo, Amira's Prince is a half-brother to four winners including Listed scorer Hen Night. He is out of Twice The Ease, an unplaced Green Desert sister to Listed heroine Desert Ease and half-sister to Group 3 winner Two-Twenty-Two.
