Lido Palace on the move to Pennsylvania

LIDO PALACE, a multiple Grade 1 winner in his native Chile and in the US, has been transferred from Lambholm Stud in Florida to stand at Northview Stallion Station in Pennsylvania.

The 12-year-oldson of Rich Man's Gold was horse of the year in Chile after winning the country's versions of the 2,000 Guineas and St Leger, and after moving to the US, added the Whitney Handicap and two successive renewals of the Woodward Stakes to his resume.

Lido Palace is the sire of four stakes performers, most notably Vineyard Haven, winner of the Hopeful Stakes and Champagne Stakes at two, and triumphant in the Grade1 Frank J de Francis Memorial Dash at three this year.

Lido Palace's fee in Pennsylvania has been set at $3,000.
