Vin Cox appointed to MD role at Magic Millions

BLOODSTOCK agent Vin Cox, a former employee at rival sales company Inglis, has been appointed managing director of Magic Millions.

His recruitment was announced by Magic Millions chairman Gerry Harvey, who said: "We look forward to growing the business together and raising the profile of the Australian bloodstock industry locallyand internationally."

Cox brings 23 years experience in the industry to his new role. He joined Inglis in1988, rising to associate director, before resigning in 2002 to form his own bloodstock advisory company.

Cox, who has also worked as the Australasian representative for Keeneland since 2003, said: "I am most excited and honoured to have been selected for this role with Magic Millions, which has become one of the leading thoroughbred sales organisations in the world, renowned for innovation and growth."

He  will take up his role in time for the 2011 Magic Millions National Sales,  which will take place on the Gold Coast from May 25 to June 8.
