Zensational to stand at Hill 'n' Dale Farms

ZENSATIONAL, a leading contender for the Breeders' Cup Sprint, will join the stallion roster at John G. Sikura's Hill 'n' Dale Farms in Lexington, Kentucky, when he retires from racing.

The three-year-old son of Unbridled's Song out of the Phone Trick mare Joke was puchased by Ahmed Zayat for $700,000 at the Fasig-Tipton Calder two-year-olds in training sale.

The Bob Baffert-trained colt has carried Zayat's silks with great distinction this year, scoring a hat trick of Grade 1 victories against older rivals in the Triple Bend Handicap, the Bing Crosby Stakes and the Pat O'Brien Stakes.

Zayat said in a statement: "Zensational is the type of horse I hoped to own when I got into this business. Zayat Stables will retain 100 per cent ownership until Zensational arrives at Hill 'n' Dale.

"We could have stood this horse anywhere, but elected to do a deal with Hill 'n' Dale because of their extraordinary track record of making such horses as Stormy Atlantic, Medaglia D'Oro and Candy Ride."
