Unbridled Belle to be covered by A.P. Indy

UNBRIDLED BELLE, the winner of the Grade 1Beldame Stakes in 2007, will be covered by A.P. Indy before returning to the stables of Todd Pletcher, where she will be prepared for a tilt at the Louisville Distaff Stakes on May 1.

The six-year-old Broken Vow mare, who is owned by Team Valor International, has won six of her 18 career starts. Besides the Beldame Stakes she has captured two other Graded races: the Delaware Handicap (Gr2) also in 2007, and the Obeah Stakes (Gr3) last year.

The mare is expected to have a limited programme this year, with a repeat attempt at the Delaware Handicap in July, and the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes at Saratoga in August as her targets.

Unbridled Belle went through the ring at last year's Fasig-Tipton November sale, but was led out unsold at $1.2 million.
