Two new additions to French stallion ranks
THE French stallion ranks will welcome two new additions this season in the prolific winner Ryokan and Walras, a half-brother to Listed winner Island House.
Ryokan, a son of Highest Honor from the family of last season's Group 2 winner Gris de Gris, will stand at Haras de Preaux for €750. The tough 11-year-old retires as the winner of 11 of 46 starts.
Walras, who was unraced due to injury, will stand at Laurence Auvray's stud in Brittany for €500. He is the first son of Sinndar to stand in France.
