Tweenhills fees unchanged for 2012

THE strength of this year's yearling sales has prompted David Redvers of Tweenhills Farm & Stud to keep the 2012 feesfor resident stallions Makfi and Sleeping Indian at the same levels as 2011.

Champion three-year-old Makfi will stand his second season at £25,000 October 1st SLF. The son of Dubawi, who was successful in the 2,000 Guineas and Prix Jacques le Marois, covered a first book of 146 mares in 2011.

Group 2 winner Sleeping Indian, sire of Group 3-winning sprinter Night Carnation, remains at £3,000 October 1st LFFR.

Redvers said: "After considering the market place and in spite of the increase in yearling averages this year, we felt it was absolutely right to maintain the stud fees for Makfi and Sleeping Indian at the same level as for 2011."
