Double bonus ecstasy for partnership at Carlisle

RASIO Cymru Racing enjoyed a profitable day's racing at Carlisle on Monday when their filly, Tro Nesa, bagged a Racing Post Yearling and Breeze-Up Bonus worth a combined £15,000.

The Ann Duffield-trained debutante was sent off at 40/1 in the eight-runner field and stayed on strongly under Royston Ffrench to lead home a one-two for sire Chineur.

Tro Nesa was knocked down to Duffield for just £9,000 at Goffs Kempton Sale in March, meaning that today's success has more than paid for the daughter of Chineur.

Brown Island Stables paid £5,000 for the filly, the daughter of a 7f winner from the family of Pas de Reponse, at the DBS St Leger Sale.

At Windsor, Believe It Or Not became a first Racing Post Yearling Bonus winner for trainer Stan Moore when taking the 5f maiden in the colours of Jimmy and Susie Wenman.

The colt - a £22,000 purchase by Bobby O'Ryanat the DBS St Leger Sale - is also a first British or Irish winner from 18 runners for Diamond Green.
