An undefeated champion juvenile whose wins included the Dewhurst and the Prix de la Salamandre, he is by Barathea and out of Lacovia, winner of the Prix de Diane and Prix Saint-Alary.
He has sired the winners of 150 races, including one Group 1 winner The Pooka, who was successful in the New Zealand 1,000 Guineas.
"We are very excited to be receiving such a good-looking horse who was such a talented racehorse. He is capable of getting two-year-old winners and now has a number of National Hunt horses coming through," says John Haydon.
Tobougg is to stand alongside East Burrow's jumping stallion Double Trigger, and will be included in the stud's policy to offer free transport for visiting mares and not charging a groom's fee.
