Thursday debut for Natagora's first foal

RAYAHEEN, the first foal produced by 2008 1,000 Guineas heroine Natagora, is set to make her debut in a 6f maiden at Nottingham (2.00) on Thursday.

Rayaheen, a bay filly by Nayef, is trained by Richard Hannon for Hamdan Al Maktoum, whose Shadwell operation purchased Natagora privately at the conclusion of her racing career.

A daughter of the Sunday Silence stallion Divine Light, Natagora was purchased by Patrick Barbe for her owner Stefan Friborg for €30,000 at the Arqana October yearling sale.

Pascal Bary trained her to win the Prix du Bois, the Prix Robert Papin and Cheveley Park Stakes at two, and the Prix Imprudence and 1,000 Guineas at three.

Natagora also reached the places in the Prix Morny, Prix du Jockey Club, Prix Rothschild, Prix Jacques le Marois and Prix de la Foret.

Natagora has a yearling sister to Rayaheen and a filly foal by Oasis Dream on the ground.
