Lewis Michael retired
to Three Chimneys

LEWIS MICHAEL, a multiple Grade 2 winner and a brother to 2006 champion juvenile filly Dreaming Of Anna, has been retired to Three Chimneys Farm in Kentucky.

The five-year-old son of Rahy out of the Broad Brush mare Justenuffheart signed off his racing career by finishing seventh behind Albertus Maximus in last weekend's Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.

In his last race before that run, he was an impressive near three-length winner of the Pat O'Brien Handicap at Del Mar. In total, he won seven of his 23 career starts, and finished placed a further eight times to win more than $800,000.

A fee for Lewis Michael will be announced later in the year.
