Teofilo sister to sell at Goffs February Sale

JIM BOLGER has tasted considerable success at Goffs in recent months, he sold Banimpire for €2.3 million at the November Sale, and his Glebe House Stables-consigned Teo's Sister is one of the standout lots in the February Sale catalogue. The four-year-old filly is a sister to Bolger's champion two-year-old Teofilo. The Galileo filly is the winner of one race.

This year's catalogue is 26 per cent bigger than the 2011 renewal, consisting of 520 lots. Flat and National Hunt yearlings, two-year-olds and breeding stock will be offered. The sale takes place from 15-16 February commencing at 10ma each day.

There are a number of well bred yearlings on offer, including the Swordlestown Little consigned Mastercraftsman filly, who is a half-sister to the Group 2Railway Stakes winner Lilbourne Lad.

Other stand-out yearlings include a New Approach colt offered by the Castlebridge Consignment, who is a half-brother to Big Audio, winner of the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Cleaboy Stud and Coppice Farm consign a Kayf Tara colt out of a half-sister to another multiple Grade 1 winner Mansony.

Sadler's Wells is well represented in the breeding stock section of the catalogue, headed by the stakes-winning mareRoyal Devotion, who is in foal to Arcano as well as half-sister to Arc winner Marienbard in foal to Iffraaj.

Graduates from the sale include the dual Grade 1 winner Dubawi Heights, Grade 1 Champion Chase winner Sizing Europe and the Grade 1-winning novice hurdler Fingal Bay.
