John O'Byrne continues foal spree at Tatts Ireland

JOHN O'BYRNE continues to pick up some of the most sought-after foals at the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt sale and his spending so far today is headed by a €27,000 son of Presenting from Thistletown Stud.

The half-brother to three winners is out of an Exit To Nowhere sister to several very smart French-based jumpers.

Earlier O’Byrne picked up a well bred son of Beneficial for €26,000. The colt, who shares his sire with yesterday’s sale topping €34,000 two-year-old Beneficial gelding (also bought by O’Byrne), is the fourth produce out of Queen Astrid.

A four-times winner during her time with Dermot Weld, she achieved her biggest success in the Listed Savel Beg Stakes.
