Tatts Ireland catalogues 518 for Derby sale

TATTERSALLS Ireland has catalogued 518 National Hunt store horses for its Derby sale on June 24 and 25.

The sale has been streamlined from last year, when 652 lots were catalogued and the auction was held over three days.

Among those on offer are full-siblings to Celestial Gold, Finger Onthe Pulse, In Compliance and The Package.

Also catalogued are half-siblings to Go Native, Niche Market, Enterprise Park, Somersby and Royal Shakespeare, as well as progeny of leading racemares Bilboa and Solerina.

Cue Card, the impressive Champion Bumper winner at the Cheltemham Festival winner in March, was purchased at this sale as a three-year-old in 2009 for €52,000, and his three-year-old half-brother by Westerner is catalogued in this year's renewal.

All lots catalogued are eligible to run in the new €10,000 Tattersalls Ireland Sales bumper over 2m at the Fairyhouse Easter festival in 2011.
