Tattersalls Ireland changes September date

Tattersalls Ireland has announced that it is to start its two-day September Yearling Sale on September 23, a day laterthan previously advertised, in order to avoid a clash with the Italian Yearling Sale.

The Italian sale was rescheduled from an earlier September date as part of the merging of the two Italian sales companies SGA and ITS.

Next year's Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale will revert to September 20 and 21.

Simon Kerins of Tattersalls Ireland reported that applications for this year's sale are at an all-time high, and that inspections are currently in full swing.

The sale will be limited to approximately 500 yearlings.
