Flemensfirth son setting the pace at Tatts Ireland

The early pace setter during the first full session devoted to foals at the Tattersalls Ireland November sale is a €41,000 son of  leading sire Flemensfirth who fell to Richard Rohan after he got the better of a protracted duel with Aiden Murphy.

Consigned by Byerley Stud on behalf of Catherine Ryan, the colt is a brother to Noel Meade’s Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle winner Muirhead, who last month made a winning debut over fences.

Towards the start of the session Michael Cleary paid€21,000 for a son of Presenting from Lough Na Sollis Stud. The colt is the third foal out of a two-times winning daughter of Mandalus in Mandys Gold.
