Sea The Stars: stellar first book

Vodka, a six-year-old daughter of Tanino Gimlet, was retired earlier this month after bleeding from the nose when finishing a disappointing eighth in the Group 2 Al Maktoum Challenge at Meydan.

Vodka made history in 2007 when she became the first filly in 64 years to win the Tokyo Yushun, the Japanese Derby, one of her seven Grade 1 victories.

With earnings of over 1.3 billion yen she is the richest female racehorse in history.

Vodka is one mare among a stellar first book for Sea The Stars that also includes Zarkava, Speciosa, Lush Lashes and Finsceal Beo.
