ANOTHER Mocklershill-sold breeze-up from this year's Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale has won - this time the sale-topping colt by Distorted Humor.

Sir Robert Ogden's breeze-up investment is reaping rewards

Sold by Willie Brown's breeze-up emporium for 320,000gns to Sir Robert Ogden, the colt has been named Tales Of Grimm and won the first division of the EBF maiden at Newbury today.

Bought by Cloran Bloodstock as a Keeneland September Sale yearling for $60,000, Tales Of Grimm is a brother to the Grade 2 San Fernando Stakes third Do It All and a second runner out of the Grade 3 winner Stupendous Miss (Dynaformer),  a daughter of Cheveley Park (G1) third Subee.

Second home was Firdaws, a Shadwell homebred filly out of the Oaks winner Eswarah, by  Mr. Greeley and a grand-daughter of the dual Classic winner Midway Lady. She holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile.

The third horse was The Nile, a colt by first-season sire Three Valleys.
