Sunday Break to France

GRADE 2 winner Sunday Break will relocate to Haras de Grandcamp in France this season. The Japanese-bred son of Forty Niner stood the past season at Walmac Farm in Kentucky at a fee of $7,500.

Trained by Neil Drysdale, Sunday Break enjoyed his finest hour when taking the Grade 2 Peter Pan Stakes. He also ran third in the Grade 1 Belmont Stakes and Grade 1 Wood Memorial.

Although Sunday Break has stood the whole of his stud career to date in the US, he has been most successful in France where he is the sire of this season's Group 3 Prix du Prince d'Orange winner Never On Sunday. He has also been represented by Sunday Holiday, who ran third in the 2007 Grade 1 Frizette Stakes.

A half-brother to Japanese champion three-year-old filly Phalaenopsis, Sunday Break is out of the placed Storm Cat mare Catequil and from the family of Japanese Horse of the Year Narita Brian.
