Strategic Prince to shuttle to Uruguay

COOLMORE sophomore stallion Strategic Prince will stand the 2012 southern-hemisphere breeding season at the Haras Lacala in Uruguay after his South American rights were bought by Alberto and Renata Stein's Haras La Leyenda.

The son of Dansili was trained by Paul Cole to win the July and Vintage Stakes, and finish third to Teofilo in the Dewhurst Stakes, at two.

His first European-bred two-year-olds hit the track last year and they included Phoenix Stakes heroine La Collina and Mill Reef Stakes runner-up Redact.

Strategic Prince's first three-year-old stakes winner is Tones, who scored in a Listed contest at Santa Anita.
