THE Storm Cat filly Life Is Sweet wonher first Grade 1 race on Saturday when taking the Santa Margarita Invitational Handicap at Santa Anita.

The dam of the pair, the Kris S mare Sweet Life, was also successful at SantaAnita, though only at Listed level, but did finish second in the Grade 1 Beverly Hills Handicap at Hollywood Park. She is a half-sister to Pirate's Revenge (Pirate's Bounty), winner of the Grade 1 Milady Handicap.

Life is Sweet is nowthe winner of three Graded events having previously been successful in two Grade 2 events this year.
