Consolidator
transferred to Florida

US FRESHMAN sire Consolidator has been transferred from Darley's Jonabell Farm in Kentucky to stand at Brent and Crystal Fernung's Journeyman Stud in Florida in 2010.

Brent Fernung said: "We are thrilled to have Consolidator join our roster. He is off to a great start and I think that his produce will only get better as they mature and stretch out."

Consolidator, a son of Storm Cat and French-bred Group 3 winner Good Example, landed the Grade 1 Breeders' Futurity at two in 2004, and won the Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes at Santa Anita at three.

He began stud duties at a fee of $20,000 at Jonabell in 2006, and commanded a fee of $15,000 at the farm this year.

Consolidator's first crop of juveniles has yielded 16 individual winners, including Absolute Music, trained by Robert Cowell in Newmarket and runner-up in the Prix Miesque earlier this month, and the David Simcock-trained Stonehenge Stakes runner-up Dubai Miracle.

Next season's fee for Consolidator, who remains the property of Darley, will be announced at a later date.
