THE catalogue for this year's SGA yearling sale in Milan - the auction at which brilliant miler Rip Van Winkle was sourced in 2007 - has been published.

The sale takes place overtwo days, on September 24 and 25.

Stallions with progeny entered for the sale include Cape Cross, Dubawi, Invincible Spirit, Oasis Dream and Rock Of Gibraltar.

Among the first-crop yearling sires who appear in the index of stallions are Amadeus Wolf, Authorized, Dark Angel, Dutch Art, Dylan Thomas, Echo Of Light, Excellent Art, Jeremy, Lawman, Manduro, Rail Link, Sir Percy, Strategic Prince, Teofilo and Three Valleys.

Star pedigrees on offer include a brother to dual Group 1 winner and SGA graduate Pressing, and half-siblings to Distant Way (by Oasis Dream), Voila Ici (Oratorio), Glamorous Spirit (Dark Angel), Joanna (Ad Valorem), Munsef (Oasis Dream) and Worthadd (One Cool Cat).

Other well-related yearlings whose pedigrees leap off the page include a Selkirk colt out of Prix Chloe winner Di Mi Oui, a King's Best half-brother to the dam of Vale Of York and a Rock Of Gibraltar colt out of Prix de l'Abbaye runner-up Slap Shot.
