Dubawi filly lands Listed Valiant Stakes

THE Dubawi filly Sooraah progressed from handicap company to Listed class with victory in the Woodcote Stud EBF "Halling" Valiant Stakes at Ascot on Friday.

From the first crop of the fast-starting Darley stallion, Sooraah is out of the Persian Bold mare Al Persian. She is the eighth foal of her dam and first black-type winner.

Al Persian is a half-sister to Legal Case, winner of the Champion Stakes and Premio Roma, and to La Sky, dam of Oaks heroine Love Divine.

Sooraah was sold for 20,000gns to Rabbah Bloodstock by Trickledown Stud at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling sale.

She becomes the 30th stakes winner by her sire.
