First win for Dylan as a £10,000 bonus is landed

DYLAN THOMAS struck with his first runner in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders'  Fund Auction Maiden Stakes at Dundalk when Snowflake Dancer also became the first winner in 2011 of a £10,000 Yearling Bonus. The Coolmore  sire is the first of this year's crop- of freshman stallions to get off the mark.

The Jim Bolger-trained colt got up in a four-way finish to provide a real coup for his owner June Judd, who has covered the €11,000 that Snowflake Dancer cost as a yearling last year in one swoop.

Consigned by Barronstown Stud,  Snowflake Dancer was bought at the Goffs Orby Sale and is the first foal of the Sadler's Wells mare Snowy Day In La.

She is a half-sister to the Prix de l'Abbaye winner Kistena, who finished a neck in front of stablemate Anabaa in the 1996 running.
