Lanwades Stud stallion SirPercy enjoyed a second UK and Irish winner

Freshman sires Teofilo and Percy add to totals

DERBY winner Sir Percy, who stands at Newmarket's Lanwades Stud, secured a second UK and Irish winner from his first crop with the Beverley victory of Beaumaris, while at Haydock Viola D'Amour gave Kildangan sire  Teofilo a fourth individual UK and Irish winner and fifth win.

Beaumaris, a 7-1 shot, struck  on his debut for trainer Ann Duffield and owner/breeder Derek Iceton.

Fellow newcomer Viola D'Amour, trained by Tom Dascombe, was consigned by joint breeder Denis Brosnan's Croom House Stud and bought by Kern Lillingston for €44,000 at Tattersalls Ireland.

At Maison-Laffitte, Vital Equine, who covered his first two seasons at Shropshire's  Bearstone Stud, was on the mark with £10,000 Doncaster purchase Vital Wave.
