Youmzain's trainer Mick Channon will also be supporting his former stable star. He told his website, mickchannon.tv:  "I'm sending him mares and I'd better be quick about it! 115 is an impressive tally especially in such economically tough times.

"I'm delighted to hear that he seems to know his job and who knows, there might be a Youmzain arriving in the near future that can give us the same thrill that he did year in, year out.

"When I look back at that period now, there were huge highs and equally huge lows. We always went into battle knowing Youmzain could mix it, but he was merely frustrating, never disappointing.

"A nose in the Coronation, a nose in the St Cloud, a head in the Arc and that stewards' enquiry...... the list goes on, but he was a huge talent, well valued and competitively priced in the French Stallion market."

Youmzain, who is a half-brother to Lockinge Stakes winner and Haras du Logis resident Creachadoir, is standing his first season for €3,000.
