Simsonsig relative added to Cheltenham auction

A HALF-BROTHER to Neptune Novices' Hurdle winner Simonsig has been added to the Brightwells Cheltenham April Sale after racing on Wednesday April 18.

The grey son of Erhaab won a four-year-old maiden point-to-point at Loughanmore on Monday on his  only start for trainer Ian Ferguson, who also produced Simonsig to win his races in Ireland before joining Nicky Henderson.

High class bumper horses added to Brightwells catalogue include Clondaw Kaempfer the winner of
the Tattersalls Ireland George Mernagh Memorial Sales Bumper at Fairyhouse as well as the runner-up The Liquidator.

Mr Watson who finished third  in The Racing Post Champion Point to Point Bumper at Fairyhouse, is another entry.
