Querari to stand at Maine Chance Farms

QUERARI, a Group 1-winning son of Oasis Dream, will stand at Maine Chance Farms in South Africa for the coming southern hemisphere season.

Last year's champion older horse in Germany will join Black Minnaloushe, Silvano and Lateral at Dr Andreas Jaconbs' stud.

The five-year-old's career highlight came when winning the Premio Presidente della Republica on heavy ground at Cappanelle, Rome. He defeated Voila Ici, Pressing and Campanologist to land the 1m2f Group 1 contest.

Querari won over 7f as a juvenile and won three races in his three-year-old season in his native Germany over 1m and 1m2f, including the Group3 Euro Cup at Frankfurt. He added the Premio Presidente della Republica the following year.
