Australian sales catalogues online

THE CATALOGUES for two of Australia's top sales, the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale andthe Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, are available online.

The Magic Millions has provided seven of the last 10 Golden Slipper Stakes winners, as well as Shocking who took this year's Melbourne Cup.

Managing director David Chester said: "I think they are now looking at the more athletic yearling and I think they're the ones that seem to be coming out and running and winning those big races.

"I mean for Magic Millions to sell seven of the last 10 Golden Slipper winners, it's a wonderful advertisement for the breeding industry where you don't have to have the A$1 million, A$2 million yearlings to win those races."

The Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale catalogues a number of promising pedigrees, including a Deep Impact half-brother to Caulfield Cup winner Tawqeet.

Successful graduates of this sale included this year the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas hero Starspangledbanner and another top-grade scorer in Turffontein, who won the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.

Catalogues are available for viewing on www.magicmillions.com.au and www.inglis.com.au.
