Fee jump to
$75,000 for Tiznow

WINSTAR Farm in Kentucky has raised Tiznow's fee from $30,000 to $75,000 in light of the stallion's exceptional year which yielded Grade 1 winners Da'Tara, Well Armed, Tough Tiz's Sis and Colonel John.

Consequently, the 11-year-old son of Cee's Tizzy currently lies in third position on the US leading sires' list with progeny earningsof over $8m.

However, although Sharp Humor will again stand at his 2008 fee of $12,500, WinStar has reduced the fees for three other stallions, including Distorted Humor, who will stand for $225,000 as previously reported.

Despite siring the winners of over $1m in prize-money from his first crop, Speightstown has dropped to $35,000 from $40,000. Bluegrass Cat has been cut to $40,000 from $50,000.

As previously announced, Grade 1 winner Spring At Last will stand his first season at $15,000.
