Shadwell Farm slashes Invasor fee to $4,000

SHADWELL FARM in America has released next year's covering fees for its stallions and they include a massive price cut for 2006 world champion racehorse Invasor.

The winner of the Breeders' Cup Classic and Dubai World Cup, Invasor will stand at $4,000 next year, having commanded a fee of $20,000 in 2012.

The first two crops sired by Invasor, a son of Candy Stripes, have yielded three Listed-placed performers.

Also receiving a price cut from Shadwell Farm for next year is Belmont Stakes winner Jazil, a Seeking The Gold half-brother to Rags To Riches whose first two crops have yielded two Listed winners - one in India, the other in Venezuela.

He will stand at $4,000 in 2013, down from $7,500 this year.

Daaher, whose first crop produced Grade 1 Test Stakes runner-up Gypsy Robin, is now Shadwell Farm's dearest sire, with a $5,000 fee for next year.

The Shadwell Farm roster is completed by Intidab and Mustanfar, who will both stand at $2,000, and Albertus Maximus, whose services are complimentary to approved mares.
