SHADWELL Farm stallion Mustanfar, a close relation to Nashwan, Unfuwain and Nayef, was represented by his first winner when Mukamer ran out a comfortable debut scorer in the 5f  maiden special weight race at Finger Lakes in the US on Friday.

The colt is one of only 13 two-year-olds from the first crop of Grade 3 winner Mustanfar, who stands at Shadwell Farm in Kentucky for $3,000.

Mukamer is the fifth winner out of Grade 3 winner Vivano, by Island Whirl, and related to Grade 1 winner Burning Roma.

The highlight of Mustanfar's 27-race career came when he was successful in the Grade 3 Sycamore Breeders' Cup Stakes at Keeneland and Grade 3 Lexington Stakes at Belmont. He was also third in the Grade 1 Gulfstream Park Breeders' Handicap.

By Unbridled, he is out of the Lyphard mare Manwah, a daughter of Sheikh Hamdan's outstanding producer Height Of Fashion.

Mukamer's victory capped a good day for Shadwell Farm stallions following the earlier highly impressive Newmarket success of Farhaan, who is from the first crop of Shadwell's Belmont Stakes hero Jazil.
