SGA publishes Italian breeze-up catalogue

ITALIAN auction house SGA has published the catalogue for its breeze-up and horses in training sale at Pisa on Saturday, March 26.

The catalogue has 64 lots, including progeny of Avonridge, Barathea, Bertolini, Dark Angel, Halling, High Chaparral, Iffraaj, Intikhab, King's Best, Kodiac, Kyllachy, Medicean, Oratorio, Rail Link, RedClubs, Rock Of Gibraltar, Shirocco, Singspiel and Zamindar.

The sire with the largest representation is Shadwell's Italian-based Mujahid, with four.

Last year's SGA breeze-up and horses in training saleturned over €163,000, with just 24 horses sold from 63 catalogued at an average of €6,792.

The sale was topped by a Dubawi two-year-old half-brother to Group 1-placed Wycherley bought by Bruno Grizzetti for €37,000.
