Saint Des Saints, a French Grade 2 hurdle-winning son of Cadoudal, stands at the Haras d'Etreham in Normandy at a fee of €4,000 this year.

Lyreen Legend, a five-year-old trained by Dessie Hughes, was bred by Eclipse Bloodstock and C & G Hadden out of the Listed-placed hurdler Bint Bladi, a daughter of Garde Royale.

Bint Bladi has produced five winners, and Lyreen Legend is the second to score in a black-type event after King's Daughter, a Listed-winning hurdler at Auteuil.

Bint Bladi is a half-sister to French Flat Listed winners French Flag and Sawasdee. She has a three-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter, both by Beneficial, as well as a yearling filly by Oscar, on the ground.

Hughes bought Lyreen Legend for €19,000 as a three-year-old at the 2010 Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale.
