Medaaly on the move to Badger Hill Stud

MEDAALY is on the move from the south-east of Ireland to the west of the country.

Having stood at Steeple Stud in County Wexford for the past two seasons, the son of Highest Honor has been transferred to stand at Badger Hill Stud in Galway.

Medaaly has previously stood in France and South Africa, and his best progeny on the Flat includes Daly Daly, a Group 3 scorer at Vichyearlier this year.

It is as a jumps sire that he has risen to prominence however, having been represented by top chasers Sky's The Limit and Nyrche, as well as the high-class Alan King-trained hurdler Medermit.

Medaaly, a winner of the Racing Post Trophy, is out of the Sadler's Wells mare Dance Of Leaves, making him a half-brother to Charnwood Forest.

The 15-year-old hails from the family of Dubai Millennium, Hamas, Fort Wood and Timber Country.
