DR MASSINI, the sire of last week's Hyde Novices' Hurdle winner Tell Massini, will stand alongside Needle Gun at David Brace's Dunraven Stud in South Wales next year.

The 16-year-old Listed-winning son of Sadler's Wells, who has spent his entire stud career to date in Ireland at the Beeches Stud, is likely to stand for a fee of£1,500.

"We're absolutely delighted to have him," said Brace. "We're close to the motorways so we're very accessible to breeders. We also offer a wide range of facilities."

Tell Massini's victory at Cheltenham last week maintained the strong start to the current jumps season for Dr Massini, who is currently the leading British-based jumps sire by prize-money.

As well as Tell Massini, the past month has also seen thestallion responsible for Ballybrit Novice Chase winner Fosters Cross and progressive chaser Master Medic to complement a list that also includes Grade 1-winning hurdlers Massini's Maguire, who was successful in the Ballymore Properties Novices' Hurdle atthe Cheltenham Festival, and Clopf.

Dr Massini is also the broodmare sire of Group 3 winner Hebridean.
