Sacred Kingdom brother to sell at Melbourne

A BROTHER to four-time Hong Kong champion sprinter Sacred Kingdom could be the headline act of the 2012 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale after being confirmed for the auction.

A seven time Group 1 winner across Hong Kong and Singapore, Sacred Kingdom is by the all conquering Coolmore stallion Encosta De Lago, twice champion sire in Australia .

He is out of the Zeditave mare Courtroom Sweetie and is a half-brother to four winners, including the seven-times winner and Listed-placed Opter.

Peter Heagney, Inglis Melbourne bloodstock director, said: "We are delighted that Sacred Kingdom's breeders, the Calvert Family, have chosen Melbourne as the place to sell one of the highlight yearlings born in Australasia."
