Zarkava relation among Aga Khan horses on sale

THE Aga Khan Studs are offering a second group of horses of racing age for private sale.

They include this season's winning miler Zarkamar, a half-brother to Group 3 winner Zarkiya as well as the dam of Zarkava. The son of Falbrav is also related to Prix de Diane heroine Zainta, dam of Triumph Hurdle winner Zaynar.

Another member of the Zahra family for sale is Zariyka, an unraced Kalanisi half-sister to the Grade 1-placed hurdler Zarinava.

Soumayar, a Linamix grandson of the Grade 1 winner Super Staff, has shown plenty of promise in just the one start this season, running third on his only start at Saint-Cloud.

Ripple, who ran second in last season's Prix Greffulhe, heads the stallion prospects on offer. The son of Rock Of Gibraltar is the winner of two races and a half-brother to multiple Group 1 winner Slickly, who is currently holding second in this season's leading French sires' list.

Also on offer is the winning Linamix colt Cherry Linx, a brother to multiple Group 1 winner and Arc runner-up Cherry Mix.
