The daughter of Elusive City cost her owner/trainer Jim Bolger just €2,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale.

In victory, Verbal Honesty emulated Snowflake Dancer, who won this race and a yearling bonus for the Bolger yard last year.

Bred by D H W Dobson, the filly is a half-sister to winners Roshini and Suntan, and out of Tus Maith, a daughter of Entrepreneur whom Bolger trained on behalf of Dobson to run third in the Listed Swordlestown Sprint Stakes.
