MEMORY'S half-sister Remember Alexander led home a one-two for Darley's first-season sire Teofilo when running down Parish Hall to take Thursday's Group 3 Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown for Jessica Harrington.

In victory, the filly not only broke her maiden but also emulated her sire, who took the 2006 renewal of the race en route to victories in the National and Dewhurst Stakes. The half-sister to Memory is the second stakes winner by the son of Galileo following Listed scorer Teolane and his seventh winner overall.

Bred in Britain by Wood Hall Stud Ltd, Remember Alexander was knocked down to Ray Townsend for 47,000gns at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale and resold for 140,000gns to Tally-Ho Stud at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Sale.

She is the fifth winner out of the Grade 3-placed Nausicaa and the second to score at Pattern level following last season's mercurial Cherry Hinton Stakes winner Memory.

Nausicaa has a yearling filly by Kyllachy.
