Moustache scores bonus for Tooth at Goodwood

RAYMOND TOOTH'S Mujdail colt Moustache earned a £10,000 Racing Post Yearling Bonus on Tuesday at Glorious Goodwood. Bred by John Cullinan, he cost £42,000 at the DBS Premier Yearling sale when consigned by Grove Stud and bought by Peter Doyle.

His dam,Spree, is by Dansili and won over 5f as a juvenile on her second start. However, she didn't progress, racing a further 15 times without placing. Spree is from a German family. Her dam, Ibiza, is by French sire Linamix and a half-sister to high-class German-trained 1m to 1m4f performer Iberus, who also race dover hurdles in Britain without winning.
