Dubai Destination: Group 1-winning miler will stand as dual-purpose stallion

Dubai Destination moves to Glenview Stud

DUBAI Destination has been transferred to Liam Cashman's Glenview Stud in Ireland, where he will stand the 2010 season as a dual-purpose sire alongside Presenting and Robin des Champs. A fee of €3,500 has been set for the son of Kingmambo.

Dubai Destination formerly stood under the Darley banner at Dalham Hall Stud, latterly at a fee of £7,000. From three crops of racing age, he has sired seven stakes winners led by Racing Post Trophy winner Ibn Khaldun and the high-class Italian filly Rosa Del Dubai.

In addition, he is already the sire of six winners over jumps including triple scorer Mission Control and Tasheba, who won a juvenile hurdle at Cheltenham in April.

A $1.5m yearling, Dubai Destination defeated Rock Of Gibraltar in the Champagne Stakes at Doncaster as a two-year-old before taking the Queen Anne Stakes at four for Godolphin.

Out of the Alleged mare Mysterial, he is a half-brother to the Group 1-winning miler Librettist and from the family of July Cup hero Agnes World.
